I have no insurance or $ and have RA, RSD, PMR, and cervical spondylosis. Where can I go for help?

Question:

Answers:
Most hospitals, including non-charitable ones, will work with you on the bills. I have friends in the same boat. Thursday, the husband was sent to the hospital for an emergency CT scan of his head. The hospital wanted $1,000 up front. His wife makes only $175 a week, they have 3 kids and another on the way, and the husband has not been able to work in 6 months. Medicaid turned him down because with meds, his symptoms are manageable. But, with his meds, he cannot drive. Not good for a truck driver. The wife spoke to the financial counselor at the hospital, and with proof of income and family size, his treatments are now free. The hospital is taking the tax write-off. You might call area hospitals, especially one you have done business with before, and ask if they would be willing to help you get the treatment you need.

Other Answers:
I know RA is Rhematoid Arthritis. If that condition
is keeping you from employment and/or your doctor
can document your sufferings limit your daily routines
you should be able to apply for Medicaid.
Also depending where you live you should be able to find a Charity Hospital with a clinic you can go to
for a fee based on your income or free. Check it out.
