You know when your snot gets all watery and just runs out of your nose? What IS that?

Question: Last night I woke up with what I call, "The Water Snots." I finally had to jam some kleenex in my nose so I could sleep. What causes the water snots and why is it so thin?

post nasal drip.im not really sure what causes it cept allergies.. and no clue why its so thin!
