I use Dove shampoo.
I use Pantene and Garnier Fructis is good too.
Depends on your hair type. Pantene makes a good range of shampoos for a variety of hair types.
Depends on your needs. If you have dandruff/dry skin problems, then you should use a coal tar based shampoo (like T-Gel. its brown and ugly, but works for those cases. and Walgreens offers their own cheaper version as well). My personal favorite is Garnier Fructis 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner.

I use John Frieda line. You can find in salons, Wall-Mart through carries this line too. Cost $5 for shampoo.
All shampoo is basically the same, with foaming agents, sulfates and fragrance. I use totally cheap shampoo (i.e. Suave, a buck a bottle!) and get compliments on how shiny and healthy my hair is.
It's all that OTHER crap (gel, mousse, texturizer, spray, blah blah blah) that you need to make sure is good quality so that it doesn't build up in your hair. Also try not to burn it up with a hair dryer.
