Does inhalation through the nose ensure proper filteration?

Question:
Are solid particles e.g. hairs, fibres and dust particles in the air properly filtered during their passage through the nasal cavity to the lungs?

Answers:
yes, there are celia(nose hairs) in the nose that capture airborn bacteria and germs(boogers), so that the air you breath through the nose is more filtered than through the mouth. also the air has to travel a longer distance from the nose than from the mouth ensuring that your lungs are getting warmer air, which is a good thing.

Other Answers:
It realy depends. in the case of the World Trade Center on 9/11, it wouldn't matter if the person would breath through the nose, or mouth. Just recently people have been getting sick and even a few dieing because of what the breathed in from 9/11.

In everyday life, I would say the first answer given is correct.
