can i sue a doctor for making me sick after they did a challenge test on me to check if I have asthma?

Question:

Answers:
It would be a strange response to a professional that was following the recommended route to diagnose a condition that can be life-threatening if not recognised and treated correctly.

If your doctor told you that the purpose of the test is to check for asthma symptoms after the challenge and had the right equipment and medications available to deal with extreme symptoms, he/she was acting in a professionally correct manner.

Sueing doctors for doing their job the best way discourages some doctors from doing necessary tests. If this happens, some patients will never get the diagnosis and treatment they need to prevent unnecessary deaths.

that happened to me and my mom got so pissed she starts screamung so loud i was even scared. u cant really sue them

I'm guessing no since you probably signed a little waver in case anything happened. They have to protect themselves.

yes, you can can, but then you may have signed some contracts with him,

Only an American would ask if they could sue someone. If you don't want their help don't ask for it. Just get on with life and stop trying to make money off people in the courts. You are the reason for high insurance premimums and the high cost of medical assistance.

I don't expect the 10 points but I will be happy if you choose not to sue me for making you feel bad.

YOu CAN sue anyone. The question is. Will you win.

Keep in mind you have to have suffered "damages". The question would be raised as to how much you "suffered".

And do you have the resources to make the fight? That is why the justice system does not work. Poor people get sh-itty representation or none at all. Rich people can afford to wage the battle.

His malpractice attorneys against you? You better have some bucks behind you and don't forget, you probably signed a waiver when being treated, so, that may stand up. Only way to tell is to consult an attorney in your jurisdiction to make sure.

Again an attorney is your best bet. Surprising, "attorney" isn't blocked out with ********. Hmmmm..

Also, keep in mind he did the test to complete a diagnosis. I hardly think you could claim malpractice.

Get a lawyer, but remember the doctor did what he had to , in order to diagnose your condition. Be kinda chicken scheit to sue him for YOUR problem, don't you think?

This post, is OPINION and not legal or medical advice.

Why would you want to sue your doctor for making you uncomfortable in an effort to try to diagnose and treat a serious illness? Do you think it was your doctor's intention to make you ill? Think about it. Your doctor is not your enemy but with your attitude, I suspect your doctor finds it hard to have you as a patient and treat you with compassion.which probably interferes with you getting the best care possible. Good luck and try thinking less about getting payback from people who mean you no harm.

legal action for every little problem is why the medical system and the country for that matter is getting so messed up. If your not dying or bleeding or have a serious permanent problem suck it up and drive on. People like you that sue for everything make me sick. If you stubbed your toe on the way out of the doctors office would you call the police and have the doctor charged with assault. The funny thing is if you really were sick would you be sitting on your leathery butt whinning like a baby. No you would be calling 911 or going to the emergency room. You should rent the movie what about bob.

You'll probably have a very hard time proving that the doctor made you sick.

Law suits are much more difficult than most people realize, unless you really can prove without a doubt that your doctor made you sick and that that sickness was significant (ie: out of work for at least two weeks at the very least), don't expect a respectable attorney to take your case.

By the way, don't expect to get paid in a timely fashion either, it wouldn't surprise me that even if you win, you'll not see a dime for at least 2 years if not more. You'll probably be paying attorney fees for that entire time as well.

Sorry to seem so pessimistic, but you don't really have much to go on, your doctor was performing a normal test and people often feel like garbage after going through a stress test.

I mean seriously, how sick did you get.I just had a Discogram 4 days ago and there are no words to describe the pain (especially the pain right after the test) and trauma I have endured. I ask for no pity but why don't you try a Discogram then gimme a call and tell me how bad you felt.
