maturity disorder in teens?

Question:
i have a friend. she's 14, and extremely.innocent, i guess. too innocent to be natural. she hasn't gotten her period or has undergone any kind of sexual development, and she has never had feelings for anyone. my base point is.she's innocent to the point of it being scary and unnatural. is there a name for this? is this a type of disorder or something?

Answers:
it takes time and if she's like 16 and still the same is happening then there might be a problem.

Other Answers:
thats totally normal.within time her knowledge will increase

Let her be

yeah maturity takes time and exerience.

let time tell

Wow you have a pretty rare friend there, which makes her extra special. No she has nothing wrong with her, she is just slow with her body maturing and there is nothing wrong with that. Eventually she will become what you are supposed to be. Trust me ( I mean do you ever see 1 adult ever with a body still as a kids??)
Hope that helps!!

There is absolutely nothing wrong with your friend! People mature sexually and emotionally at different rates. Actually, the girl that has more time to mature emotionally before being involved with dating and boys has a lot better chance in this world of liviong a happy healthy life! Spend less time thinking about those things, you are still kids-enjoy the moment!
