what is aerobic and non aerobic exercise(differ.

Question:

Answers:
Aerobic and non-aerobic exercise uses different types of muscle, burn different types of "fuel", and had different effect on the physical appearance of the body.

Aerobic exercise uses slow-twitch muscles, meaning the muscle moves slowly and does not have high power, but can contract a lot for long periods of time. This kind of muscle gets used/developed in walking, jogging, yoga/pilates. These muscles are slim and lean. Aerobic exercise mainly uses fat stores in the body to fuel the contractions. That's why doing this type of exercise helps lose weight and increase muscle tone. In other words, makes you slim and tight.
Look at the Kenyan runners, they are all very very thin, but they go on for ages. They have lots of slow-twitch muscle.

Non-aerobic (or anaerobic) exercise uses fast-twitch muscles, meaning they give out bursts of contractions with high power, but tire quickly. This kind of muscle gets used/developed in sprinting, weight training. These muscles are large and bulky. Anaerobic exercise mainly uses sugar (glucose) for fuel. So doing this type of exercise helps gain weight/muscle bulk and strength. It makes you.um, somewhat like Arnie. Arnie has lots of fast-twitch muscle.

Aerobic exercise also involves the heart (which is a muscle itself). It exercises your heart and makes it more used to contracting at higher rates ("makes you fitter"). It helps develop endurance.

Other Answers:
Aerobic exercise gets your heart rate up, improves circulation more, strengthens the heart, gives you more endurance.

Aerobic exercise would be something like running or swimming. Non aerobic would be something like lifting weights.

Aerobic exercises are ones where you breathe in oxygen. An example is running/jogging.
Non-aerobic exercises is the opposite of aerobic. So swimming would be one example.

Aerobic exercise gets the heart rate up, and thus increasing endurance, because it makes your body uses oxygen. (notice that aerobic respiration is oxygen-using)
- running, swimming, etc.

Nonaerobic exercise makes your body tired fast w/o having to increase your heart rate.
-lift weights, push ups, sit ups, etc.
