i can only sleep for like 3,at most 5 hours a night, how can i stay asleep longer?

no matter how much exercise i have before sleeping or how tired i am,i still don't stay asleep.anyone know what this is?

benedryl works for me. and drinking milk before I go to bed. I don't sleep well either. Oh and liquid calcium pills work well too!

Some hospitals will have a sleep clinic, where you can go and sleep for a few nights and they will monitor you and try to find out what the problem is. Sometimes people have medical conditions they didn't know about, sometimes apnea, snoring, bad dreams they do't remember, allergies to dust and mites intheir bedding, and many other causes. Try to find a local sleep clinic, and good luck!

Go to your healthfood store & buy any of these nutritional supplements used to enhance sleep; Kava kava; valerian; chamomile; melatonin; or try a calcium/magnesium supplement in a 2 to 1 ratio; twice as much calcium as magnesium.
You can also try using a noise machine that has soothing sounds, or white noise that blocks out other disturbing sounds.
