15 month old child never eats solid food only milk when fed he will gag and vomit even with a crumb?

Question:
He will only eat baby food and sometimes he will vomit even that. I tried mash potatoes just a small amount and I mean small it wasn't even at the back of his throat and he vomit his baby food from earlier that day. His mom keeps telling me thats normal. I have 3 kids and I know thats not normal she blames the vomiting on teething. Vomiting has nothing to do with teething I checked on that already. She refuses to take the baby to see a doctor and I am concern to the point that I refuse to babysit this child any longer. I can't just turn the other cheek and pretend that there is nothing wrong when I know there is.

Answers:
PLEASE, take your child to a Dr. right away, there is something wrong, when a 15 month old baby can't even keep baby food down, wow, i would be terrified if it were my child, i realize it's not your baby but please try to talk sense into the mommy to see a Dr. IT IS NOT, REPEAT, NOT NORMAL, TELL HER, good luck to you an God Bless you all

Other Answers:
i think that that baby will need therapy as my nephew did. my nephew had cerebral palsy and he had to be taught how to eat. after months of lets call it "eating therapy" he can now chew without any problem. she needs to take the baby to the doctor before he grows older.

Well I'm in the health field and I know that is not normal you should talk to a doctor about that to see what they say. And that is good that you not just turning your head but you should go talk to a professional.

I am not sure, what causes the problem but I can say Try to give the baby soft food then as time goes on you can try the chewing food ,For now just feed the baby with yoghurt's, soft portage and so on

I am a pediatric professional. This is not normal. This child needs to be evaluated now. Doesn't the baby get well baby checkups? If the mother refuses, she should be reported to Child Welfare.

u will get the correct solution if u take the child to the doctor who is a childrens specialist who can diagnosis the real problem. this would be the proper and appropriate decision.
