Question:

I am not a professional, but I also spot every month between ovulation and menses. My doctor said it is ok, that perhaps I have a thin uterine lining. But I would suggest asking your gyno if your worried, better safe than sorry.

If you are real young and have only been having your period for a short time, that may be normal because your body may not be regular yet. If not, that's probably something you want to talk to your doctor about.
But I'm no expert, so that may be something you want to talk to your doctor about regardless.
yes if you are really worried then ask your doctor but i spot sometimes between periods
It's not normal, but depends on your age.. if you are just getting started, then your body is learning to do things and your hormones are all out of wack.
If you have just been pregnant that could also happen, or if you are peri-menopausal.
Most of the 'reasons' for this when the above items are not a factor is that your hormones are out of sync and if it keeps up for more than a couple of months, you should be seen by your doctor. Also, keep in mind that many women 'spot' in their first few months of pregnancy, and usually it is bright pink. Take a PG test just to be sure and rule that out.. 10 bucks is worth the piece of mind :)
Good luck and take care!
yes, I bleed very lightly in the second week after my period ends, my doctor said it's because I'm ovulating then
