I am SOOOO constipated! Any natural remedies?

Question:

Answers:
Psyllium husks. They're sold in powdered form as a dietary supplement in drug stores (and probably even Walmart) to be mixed into juice or water and drunk. They're water soluble fiber and I use the powder when I have to take anti-nausea meds for chemo therapy. Those meds really stop everything in the digestive system but the psyllium has helped a lot.

Prunes

licorice. real licorice, not the plastic stuff. try barret's licorice allsorts, or a handful of licorice cigars.

you need a barbwire pulling through you *smiles*

fibre from fruit, vegetables and whole grains. drink lots of water too.

prune juice mixed with vodka. It's called a pile driver.

For your particular case I believe I would suggest grub worms.

Prunes
Lots of coconut milk
Green grapes

You may have to eat/drink a lot of it to work.

You can buy chocolate and tablets from the chemist to help you go too

Also smearing olive oil round the area of exit (backwards it is suna Yahoo wont let me type that), this makes the area slippery and can help with ejecting the stuff.

Take a good book in with you

hot soapy water and a turkey baster. i think you get the idea. trust me it works!!

Other than the natural remedies given to you, you should check all medications you currently take, especially any pain killers. If they cause constipation, such as Hydrocodene/Vicodin, ask your doctor or buy over-the-counter the stool SOFTENER, Ducolax/Do-Q-Lace. I think there is a natural stool softener called Senicot, too. Ask your pharmacist for the most natural one. Ask your doctor to advise you on how often to take your pain killer(s) and their side affects. Pharmacists often are even better to get advice from, better than your doctor.

Have a hot cup of tea with a good dose of honey in it, warm honey has a gentle laxative effect. Eat an nice, big apple before you go to bed at night. Once you go, then you need to make sure you do everything you can to not get blocked up again. Eat fibrous veggies, exercise, check side effects of any medication you take, etc.

I suggest you go with fleets phospho-soda first [ avaiiable in drug stores] to get relief then follow with natural remedies because the longer you remain consitpated the more bacteria will be spread through your body. Which can lead into all kinds of problems.
