Question:

Answers:
Legally, you are old enough in any state to get a tattoo without mommy's signature.

Just remember you will have it for the rest of your life. Pick something that means something and not something that was pretty that you would think would be cool.

Once you have come up with a design that means something to you, still wait about six months or so and see if you still want it.

Also, once you are positive you want it, think long and hard about the location. Can you easily hide it? A great majority of employers frown upon tattoos and especially ones that are readily visible.

I have two tattoos that the combined time of planning and decision making took about 8 1/2 years. I do not regret either one of them since they both mean a lot to me.

Other Answers:
Well, you are considered a legal adult now. It's up to you if you want to get one. I personally don't like them.

sure why not..but I hope the tattoo you're getting is going to be something meaningful to you so you won't have to regret it later on then consider of getting it removed..because it hurts sooo bad..you wouldn't want to try it

never get a tatoo, it is unsanitary and puts yourself in a bad impression in front of other people.

Yes 18 is old enough to get a tattoo. Legally you're able to get a tattoo without any parental consent. Just make sure the design is something you really want because you'll have to live with it. Good luck! And don't worry about other people judging you for having a tattoo. Most times that won't even happen but even if it does, it's your body and you're free to decorate it as you wish.

you're legal, I say it's your body, do with it as you wish.

Yes your old enough. If i might offer you some advice..research what it is you want then wait at least 6 months and if you still want it go for it.Don't just show up at a tat shop pick something out of a book and start drilling..Make it unique..have fun

I have 6 tattoos each of which I wanted for years, and had specialy desighned..

Sure, but remember its yours for life! it costs more to have it removed than to put it on. You cant change it when you get tired of it. Think about it long and hard, what will ou look like at 50 or 60 when it turns that ugly green and fades and stretches. Good luck with your choice

well i don't think so as long as you are sure about what you are going to get. remember it IS forever. i would say get something that really means something to you, you'll be less likely to regret it in the long run ya know?? and don't get it in a visible place (some jobs don't allow it) my rules is to get it somewhere that you or other people can see it in the summer (back is always good and i think it is VERY attractive on both male and female: stomach is ok and upper legs, not lower remember to think of your future profession, and on your foot/toes is cute, but i hear that is hurts bad) hope i could help :D
