does anyone know what a cardoma tumor is?
my nephew has been diagnosed with a cardoma tumor that has been removed but now they are saying he needs intense radiation therapy and I don't have any clue what is the problem

The radiation therapy is to kill off any remaining cancer cells. Your nephew is facing another ordeal with radiation and both he and his parents will need your support and encouragement. With sacrococcygeal tumors, sexual function and sphincter control may be compromised after surgery. Radiation is used if complete resection is impossible."
