2 primary ways to do it.

1. Increase your water intake. Think of you body as a machine. The oil that runs that engine is fueled by the amount of water that is in your body. When you increas your water intake it allows your body to function more efficiently and this raises your metabolism which can raise your appetite.

2. Exercising can increase the energy demand from your muscles. This will speed your metabolism and it will increase your appetite to fuel your energy demand. You always want to increase weight with muscle weight. You have to slow your metabolism a little and increase the intensity of your workouts. Honestly if you only want to gain muscle You need to up your daily calorie intake, which includes proteins fats and carbs.

Proteins will help you build muscle but dont overdo it, meaning dont go stock up on peanut butter and tuna cans. Only so much protein can be used by your body a day the rest goes undigested to a degree.

Also make sure you get your proteins from vegetables as well as meats. Yes vegetables, you would be surprised how many bodybuilders are vegetarians. Legumes (beans), Leafy green vegetables have proteins as well as whole grains (rice). When eaten in combination vegetables and whole grains containing proteins can form whats called a complete protein which is better used by your body to build muscle.

The only way to get hungry is to have something that quickly makes your hunger go away. That substance is called sugar. This is not advised though. I would suggest to find out how many calories you burn in a day. To do this see how many you eat for a whole week. Try to make sure they are around the same number. If you don't gain or loose weight that is probably the amount you have to eat to maintain your weight. If you add 500 calories to that amount then you will take a week to gain a pound because there are roughly 3,500 calories in a pound. Just like it is dangerous to loose too much weight, it is just as dangerous to gain too much weight. That is my suggestion along with many medical doctors. If you do not gain weight with in a month then simply add 500 more calories to what you were eating. Remember that what ever weight you are trying to get to you will have to maintain.
