can you excerise with a broken arm? If so what can you do? I have been weight training until broke my arm?

Question:

Answers:
I once lifted weights while recovering from a fractured wrist, but I do not rank this amongst my most intelligent decisions. I was in the process of establishing a personal best (i.e., I lifted weights every day, no excuses, for a calendar year) and didn't want to surrender my record due to injury. It hurt like holy hell and, although I am unaware of any lasting damage, it was nevertheless stupid and I wouldn't advise it. Let your arm heal to the point you're no longer feeling pain when you exert with it and then resume your weightlifting. It could be as soon as 3-4 weeks. Good luck!

Other Answers:
I rode broncs and bulls with a busted arm. So I can't see why you can't weight lift. Just don't put much weight if any on that arm.

Go to a physical therapist for an exercise routine. Maybe all you'll have to do is to switch to working out with one dumbell. Insurance will pay for a PT, altho you might have to get a referral from your doctor.
