What can I use to shave my pubic area without getting ingrown hairs ?
I've been shaving bald for allmost 15 years now and am about to give it up. It's not that bad but I'm sick of it.

I have had the same problem in the past and I found this oil called Shave Secret that works great. I actually found it at Wal-Mart which is surprising!! it was like two dollars for the bottle and all you do is wet the area you are shaving and put like three drops inyour hands, rub it in and then rub it onto the area you are shaving. Then Shave!! It is a miracle worker!! And you can use it for everything, underarms, legs, and whatever else people are shaving now days.

Veet. Immac mouse is also very effective but its a bit difficult to control where it runs on warm skin so you can end up looking like you have pubic alopecia. lolVeet is a lot more controllable.

I'd say, Let your boyfriend shave you, then you could careless about them. just think about what happened and the ingrowns will all go away!Use conditioner instead of shaving cream.it helps cut down friction, which causes ingrown hairs. Also, shave in the direction of the hair growth, not against it. Pre shave oil is also helpful. You can buy this.like a men's product.or just use vegetable oil from your kitchen. I do this when I shave my beard because it helps cut down on razor burn. Otherwise, you should wax or use a nair like product.

Honestly, I would look into your pain factor. Are you the type that can't take pain? Or are you able to withstand somethings that others would cringe at?I have been bald down there ever since I started gaining hair there just because I didn't like that feeling.
I had a friend of mine who a year ago introduced me to the art of pubic hair waxing. When you first get it done it stings a little (feels like your eyebrows are getting waxed). It keeps the hair gone longer than shaving, yet, it won't cause you to get those nasty ingrown hairs their either!
Whatever you do, don't listen to these people who say to use veet or nair. It will cause cervical cancer if used in that region of your body. Wax is natural and is processed through the body naturally if it does enter into that region of the body. Plus they use what is called a "honey based wax" when they was that area.
