would a kinda fat person look good in a mini skirt?

Question:
i mean the normal, NOT ultra short kind

Answers:
I think so, as long as it's not super short, cause I don't care what size you are when a skirt is too short you look skanky. And as long as it's comfy, if it's gonna ride up or down or feels weird when you sit, I'd skip.

Also you say your "kinda fat" which by todays standards means your a normal size. Not everyone is a 2 and they don't have to be.

Curves are better than bones sticking out. And no I'm not "Fat". But I hate that word. People are supposed to come in all different shapes and sizes.

Other Answers:
Not really

fat people should wear sweatpants and loose baggy clothing, its gross seeing fat peoples skin, if your a fat person, dont wear revealing clothes that will make you look grosser than your body shape already does

Probably not. Bigger people should wear there cloths loose and nothing that is not reveling.

noo..it'd look like a hippo in a hula skirt..i'm not trying to be mean here..but fat people shouldn't wearing mini skirts that make their legs look even chunkier especially those ruffle skirt..

Mini skirts are hard for anyone who is not under a size 4 to pull off. The trick is having substantially tanned and toned legs. Now it is stylish to sport below-the-knee leggings under your mini which help to conceal thigh problem areas. If you are fuller figured, I would advise wearing knee length, A line skirt fashions, which are the most complimentary.

only people who are like size 2 can wear those skirts. otherwise it's just not flattering and looks replusive. it's okay, i wouldn't wear one either.

if your heavy you shoulnt wear to much revealing clothing. Dont wear loose clothing or sweats. There are nice capris and straight leg jeans which look great on heavy people, you can find these clothing at OLD NAVY anyways skirts arent important to be part of the trend i personally dont like skirts on skinny people or heavy people.
oh yeah dont listen to any of those rude comments
i hope i helped w/b

depends on how big the person is if they have fat rolls then eww, but if they are just kinda big boned then its cool, but its not really how it looks its how u strut it that counts

I don't know because I'm not fat. If u are fat i suggested u wear normal size clothing

Hmm..try a little longer. How much overwieght are you? If yo have a double chin..no way. if just a little chubby.maybe. But a miniskirt on anyone is a huge risk.

just wear something that make you feel comforty

depends on the skirt and the body and never listen to those too skinny chics or biased guys, if it looks good and you are comfy, wear it.

Ok, I'm disappointed with all the judgmental and shallow people who have, thus far, submitted answers. I'm a curvy girl, a proud size 12 at 5'4" and 135 lbs. And I own two mini skirts that manage to conceal my nice rounded out bottom half and I look just fine in them. It's a matter of wearing them right: the right size, not too tight, and pairing it with a slightly loose short-sleeved t-shirt. Since your showing off a lot of leg, keep your top half covered, then you look classy, not hoochie.

Self-confidence in my curves and a lot of trial and error with fashion.

NO WAY! sorry but its not helping them look pretty. in fact, the effect is the EXACT opposite!

Depends on how your legs look. I wouldn't be considered "kinda fat", but I do have a big butt and legs, and I avoid miniskirts because they bring too much (unwanted) attention to me. I would try one on and see how you feel in them. Oh yeah, and the person who commented on wearing a loose shirt was on point. Don't wanna show ALL your goodies.
