How can I determine the gender of my baby?
Question:
Answers:
Have an ultrasound done. The earliest you can tell the sex of the baby is around the 5th month of pregnancy.
Other Answers:
your doctor will set a appointment for you to have a ultrasound either on or after 20 weeks and if you waited way to long to even see a doctor for your pregnancy then you have no choice but to wait cause when the baby gets too big then he/she's legs closed so you cant see. So talk to your doctor and hey if you want to know the sex and the father don't then he can sit in the waiting room and the doctor will never tell him the sex of the baby. So its best if your between 20-35 weeks along to see the sex of your baby
i was told that if you have a little bump on the front its a boy and if you put weight on all over like me its a girl. when i was in labout the midwife checked the rhytham of the babies heartbeat and said it was a girl although that hadnt been confirmed at the scan so maybe when you go for one of your routine checks and they listen to the heartbeat they might be able to tell you.
Other than amniocentesis, there is no sure way to determine sex of a fetus. And I do not know of any facilities that will perform an amnio for the sole purpose of determining gender. There are many variables in ultrasound which can mis-sex a fetus, including maternal body size, position of the baby, technologist accuracy, a pregnancy that is too early or too late along, quality of the ultrasound unit, etc..
