perming hair . I need help?

Question:
I permed my hair twice.I did it the right way but my hair won't stay curly. I have used small rods. My hair is so thin it just never stays the way i want it. What can i do to keep my hair really curly?

Answers:
its all ready bad that you are applying a chemical to you hair for it to curl but using a curling iron afterwards is doing futher damage to you hair. try using curl activators, and curling shampoos

Other Answers:
A suggestion for keeping curls, there is special shampoo's and conditioners for perms, and there is also hair spray's or mouse for permed hair. These will help keep your perm in longer, and also help with the damage that the perm has done to the hair.

One way is to get it done at a salon and remember if you get your hair permed you have to take extra special care of it like washing it then sprating right away with hair spray

First of all if your hair was permed right the curls would still be in your hair. But it sounds like it wasn't permed correctly. In order for you to get it done correctly this time I would suggest going to a salon with a well establishes history.

When a perm in done correctly the chemicals need to be applied correctly in order for the perm to process.
But to keep it curly all you have to do is get it done correctly and keep it maintained.

you might not have a medula layer to your hair. that's my mom's problem. if so, your hair won't curl with a perm. set it with rollers and finger comb, do not touch, spray freeze spray(super strong hair spray)
