What happens to a person if their musculatory system stops working?
Is there any way to get rid of shin splints?
Answers:
You lose the ability to control voluntary movements. Depending on the amount and place of damage it may eventually effect your lungs and or heart. Keep in mind your heart is a muscle and you chest wall is full of muscles that allow you to inhale and exhale. As for your muscles that control movement they become flaccid . Anything that is considered to function by voluntary or involuntary movement may be affected depending on the kind of damage. Keep in mind only your physician can determine the extent of damage that will occur depending on diagnosis. Hope to have helped.

Well.think about it.they wouldn't be able to move, see, smell, breathe, walk, or anything. If you consider the heart (a muscle) within the musculatory system, then they'd immediately die.Since your diaphram is a muscle, you would stop breathing and suffocate.

Then there muscles start to slowly deteriorate. & soon they cause you to mot move.Well there is no "musculatory" system per se. There is the musculoskeletal but that wouldn't really "stop working". The muscles in your musculoskeletal system (think biceps and quadricepts) can atrophy, or deteriorate and you slowly loose the ability to walk, move your limbs, talk, eat, etc. The diaphram and heart are made of specific muscular tissues but they are not part of the musculoskeletal system. Muscles are attached to bones through tendons and ligaments and there are nerves that run around and through muscles so the muscles actually depend on those other systems to function. It is rare to just have a muscle disorder, muscles are more like a means to an ends for the other systems.
Die or if it was not completely stopped you could be a vegetable.
