Why wont the blemish on my face go away?

I've never had serious acne before, it was always just a pimple here and there, and it always disapeared within a couple of days. but a couple of months ago i noticed a small bump on my cheek and pressed it out, nothing was unusual. shortly afterwards, a pimple developed on that spot, and it wouldnt go away. it started out as a blemish and eventually spreaded and several other bumps developed. It's been many months now, and it's still on my face. Some of the pimples are gone, but it's marks are still there. I've tried almost everything you can imagine..even proactive didnt work. Before i use to press my face all the time for zits and nothing happened, but now it seems that whenever i do, it develops into a pimple that will not go away that turns dark. does anybody have any idea what is wrong with my skin or what i did to it..or why these marks are developing everytime i press it? is it a special condition? Im 20 years old male btw, so i dont think it's my hormoes

Hi, Iam a prcticing dermatologist in India. Simplest way to keep acne at bay is freqnt face washes. Benzoyl peroxide 2% gel or Adaferin ( Adapalene 0.1%) gel may be applied at nights.Umay get new ones for about wk 10 days thn rgrses. U need 2 cut on fatty, spicy junck foods.Donot fiddle with ur acne it may leave bad scars.
