Unfortunately that I know of, there is only one. Quit smoking. After quitting, the side effects will begin to recede.

No quick cure but you might try Mary Kay's lip treatment. It gets all the dead skin off and with repeated use the spot might go away. There are over the counter skin lightening products available. I had light and dark spots on my face that went away. I just don't know if it will work on the lip. Good luck! Smoking has lots of side affects. It also cause wrinkles to the upper lip as you age.
