Answers:
When I was in highschool I was always heavier than I wanted to be and it was difficult because I was very competitive with my friends. I found out years later that a medication that I was on was the cause of my weight gain and switched it. In the meantime though, I developed a lot of good habits so I didn't get way too big. I stretched every morning, drank plenty of water, stayed away from pop, and tried my best to snack on healthy foods like fruit, veggie sticks, yogurt, and occasionally pretzles or popcorn. I still do those things today and I am 28.(Most people don't believe me when I tell them that)
So my advice to you is just to be sure of everything you are putting into your body including medications: you should make yourself aware of their side effects
And have fun too.. there are so many things to do that are physical that get you in shape without even realizing it.
Take dance lessons, jump on a trampoline, run, play sports.
Hope things work out for you

want my advice?.. 130 pounds is normal.. i dont know what your height is so im going to assume its average for a lady..
101 is dangerously low.. in fact its quite sickening.. being too thin is just as bad for your health as being too fat..
my advice to you is to love yourself for who you are..
you should also be aware that "american models" do not represent an average person.. in fact.. the average sized woman.. is considered "plus sized" by american modeling standards. oddly enough..
Eat a healthy, vegan diet and get plenty of exercise. Focus on being all around healthy and fit rather than weighing a certain amount. Think about some realistic career goals. Modeling is not realistic.
you would need to maintain a daily calorie deficintcy of 500 for 6 months and 23 days. meaning that if you were to start today you would reach your target weight in about early august. what calorie deficintcy means is the calories you burn by your daily activites minus the calories you consume in a day. if you were to burn 2500 calories in a day and consume 2000 calories from your diet that would give you 500. the best way to go about doing this is to design a diet for yourself that would give you around 2000 and monitor your daily activities to see how many calories you burn normally then use exercise. cardiovascular exercises are very good for burning calories. but a word of advice, not everyone that will answer your question knows what they are talking about, some of them believe and rely heavily on fad diets and binging and purging, these are NOT! the best way to go about acheiving your goals as you can seriously harm your health. i have studied dieting and exercising extensively and was at one time training for bodybuilding contests and trying to become a personal trainer so i do know what i am talking about. with whatever diet you choose you need to make sure you take a multi-vitamin/multi mineral supplement as in some diets you can deprive yourself of essential minerals and vitamins. to help you set up a diet and exercise program i have included links to some very helpful sites

good luck with your exercise and diet do not deplete yourself of carbohydrates these are your main sources of energy and you will need energy to exercise, make sure you are getting protein in your diet protein is what builds and repairs muscle and in order to tone yourself you will need to do both and do not cut out fats altogether, your body will still need fat but cut back on them and also keep a journal for yourself monitor your measurements weight your calorie intake and your activites
i know this is alot of info but following a good and strict diet plan and exercise program is the safest and most efficient way to acheive your goal. and make sure you do avoid at all costs those diets that involve starvation you can become very ill from not eating and avoid fad diets that promise you weight loss without exercise. most of the people i have seen on those types may lose weight but their bodies are still flabby and quite often they are sickly looking
once again good luck!!
Stick w/ all the healthy foods! REMEMBER though that if you are tall your NOT going to want to be 101 plbs because the taller you are the more you weigh BUT you would still look skinny! I would say healthy foods and LOTS of exrsising! Just a little each day! Avoid BIG snacks and it should work out well! Good luck with your modeling!

my mom always tells me stuff like this
Personaly, I would agree with limabean, since I eat only raw fruits, some veggies and some natural fruit juices, I havent gained a pound of fat, nor lost any. I weigh 150~ lb give or take. Now as for darth's theory of cutting calories, I have one thing to ask. If you start taking pills for a headache or pain, after a while wouldnt they stop working? Why? Because your body would adapt. If you would cut calories, your body would adapt slowly and could be cutting you out of energy. Painful weight loss so to say. Personaly if I would want to loose extra fat, I would eat healthy, natural raw food, excercise, stretch, meditate, yoga.. etc. Fruits and vegies are also burned way faster, about (30 min) by my understanding, giving your body a quick boost of energy. If your body is happy, It would have no reason to keep the excess fat there. From what I understand, fat is also your body's defense system from emotional pain, so when you start loosing it, you might release pain stored in it, giving you back happyness, fredom. I would also do a body detox, with various herbal teas. I'd say that a clear mind would also help. When I started this "diet", or better said "lifestyle" my energy dropped, as my body began cleaning itself and switching food eating habits. But after that, it started getting back up, and my health (mentaly, emotionaly and physicaly) has/is beggining to steady'ly improve. Keep in mind, this is only my way of doing things, and i've experinced some bad cravings for "junk" food and some bad pains when my body was detoxifying. (detoxifying not from drugs, but from the every day things that people eat, the preservatives in food, the additives, chemichals, painkille. etc..) Also bee polen is great for getting minerals and vitamins.. Just do a little reasearch on google..
