do braces hurt alot when you first get them?

What are the roles of a nurse in the clinic?

Answers:
Yes it hurts. It's basically pulling your teeth into alignment by force. It will get easier once your teeth start going in line.

My grand-daughter said they were uncomfortable and you are very aware of them. They will give you wax to use if you find the braces are brothering your mouth tissues.
After a few days you get use to them.
my grand-daughter has a palette expander and braces so she was cranky for a few days.
Just think how good your teeth will look after this is all over and done. Smile. :-)

I am going insane. Every day it gets worse. No one takes me seriously, not even my doctors. What should I do?

When your braces are put on your just going to feel like they forgot something. (i'm serious! haha) but after about and hour to 2 hours your mouth is going to hurt and you'll be able to "feel" your teeth moving, at least you know they are. This will hurt but if you get a gentle pain reliever such as Aspirin they will not hurt you as much. If you have a good orthodontist the pain should wear off within about a week or two. Also, when you get them adjusted be sure to tell the orthodontist if you feel like your having any unnecessary pain. The adjustments will hurt for a day or two but not much longer. Just remember that if your braces hurt you can think about what a gorgeous smile your going to have once the pain is gone! Good Luck!

There is a new drug that helps control blood sugar, reduces cholesterol and reduces viseral fat. What is it?

yes

Is anyone here sleep deprived?

Yes, they do hurt when you put braces on. I had experienced with it. They glued brackets on my teeth, they they put the separators, and they had my wires tightened. It hurts at first because your teeth is not used to it. It takes two to three days to get the pain go away. If it does not, take tylenol that would make the pain go away.

When I first got them, I was afraid that I could not eat anything that I am used to. Chewing gum, I got used to it, but ever since I started getting braces, I had to give up with the ortho told me not to eat (the rules of taking care of your braces.) I never gotten fined for breaking wires or anything. Trust me, drink liquid things (not sour stuff at first), chicken soup, and etc.. Don't start eating food that are chewy right away that would hurt. Next time, if you go back to the ortho and having your braces tightened, don't start eating right away.
