Answers:
Having a chronic illness that requires as much effort as diabetes is stressful. Your reaction is not at all unusual.
You can get help by talking to a trusted friend, joining a support group, or going to a therapist.
You will find a lot of information at the ADA web site.

Yes.I was mad as heck too. From all that I read so far, it is very common to get angry over this and yet, that is an aggravate for the condition so you need to seek out a way to deal.
I have been using books and the internet to educate myself as best I can to defocus on the depression and anger and focus on the possibilities. I don't want to get any sicker so I am just plugging right though this thing.
Today I bought a book from Wal-Mart about vitamins and supplements. So far I have read up to the "G's" and I a amazed at how many of these things are recommended for our condition and yet this is the first I have heard of them! I am tired right now but I will put this question on my watch list, then tomorrow I will post some of the findings and the name of the book.
Chin up hon.your not alone.
Type 2 diabetese is usually the result of obesity (not always though). Eat a proper diet and get some exercise and if you are so angry about it!
COME HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. GIMME A HUG!! I can related to what you are saying, I have survived the worst of the worst myself it is the domino effect, when it rains it pours and you have reached your wit's end, this is the straw that broke the camel's back. Enough is enough.
Whenever bad things happen to us when need to stop and get a grip otherwise we are going to explode, it is like a volcano . You just can't take the pressure anymore. The whole world sucks and the people that live in it do too. I know what you mean.
As hard is it is you need to take a deep breath and tell you that things could be a lot worse, BELIEVE IT OR NOT THEY CAN. There is always someone out there that is suffering a lot worse than what you are.
I know it's frustrating, but you really have to get a grip. If it is troubling you that much you should talk to someone about it. Try to go for a walk , get some funny movies and watch them, hang out with friends and talk to them. You have to add some color to your life and soon things will not seem as bad as they are.
It's difficult, but we have to wipe the tears, pick ourselves up and move forward. The tough times are the times that we just have to learn to be strong. We cannot change the fortunate and crappy events, we might as well learn to accept them and go with the flow, if you don't well, you are going to sink.
Of course it is. Not only do you have to change your eating habits, which in itself is difficult, but your sugar levels also can cause depression and mood swings. Talk to your doctor about this. You can also seek help from a qualified dietitian to help you make better choices. This will help more than you can imagine. Remember, it could be worse, at least you can control it at this point. Be strong.
