Lifting weights is not the single most efficient method for losing weight.
You should be increasing your cardiovascular work out. So bicycle, run, or swim.
I would say that your target of 10 pounds in 2 weeks is a bit stiff. You might reach that through a drastic cut in calorie intake, but in general you shouldn't just crash workout/diet on your body. It's not healthy, and you could injure yourself.

I would say the best exercise with very little weight-lifting would be water aerobics or regular walking. To lose 10 pounds in two weeks is pushing it. It isn't healthy to lose so much so fast and has been known to double when the weight returns.
Cutting out carbs and sugars such as the Atkins thing will help in a pinch, but I wouldn't do that long term.
