are deli meats like chicken and turnkey bad for you when your pregnant ?

Question:

Answers:
I don't think they are, I ate them when I was pregnant. I had subway alot and got deli meats, I was fine. But every body acts differently during pregnancy so your stomach might not agree with it.

But as far as being bad, I haven't heard anything about it.

Other Answers:
only if you take in too much protein. Your doctor should have given you a list of what you can eat. such as an intake amount per day.

I don't remember that being on the list of bad foods. They can be high in sodium and nitrates though which can contribute to water retention if you eat too much of it.

NO THEY ARE ACTUALLY REALLY NUTRITIOUS.
PS WAT ARE YOU NAMING YOUR BABY.
JUST EAT WAT YOUR CRAVING AS LONG AS YOUR DOCTOR SAYS ITS OK.

It is okay to eat chicken or turkey during pregnancy but you should trim any excess fat from the meat and remove the skin so you are not taking too many calories from the fat.

They aren't "bad" for you, but you should limit them because they contain chemicals that preserve the meat, and those might me harmful to the baby. Phosphates I think they're called. Just eat them in moderation. For me, I hated meat when I was preggo, so sometimes when I needed a protein fix, i'd do a roll up. But just try not to eat it everyday. Good luck and congrats

in large portions

All meat is bad, try vegetables and fruits or fruit juices mixed with healthy herbs.
