Pain at night.?

I am waiting for shoulder surgery in Three weeks. I do all
right during the day with what meds I take but pain keeps
me up at night. Any suggestions?

Trying laying on your side that is not having surgery, or put some ice on it..or one of those icy hot patches thingies those work nicely for pain, you can also try massaging your arm.but i would just go for laying on the opposite side and force yourself to sleep so that way it doesnt bother you
oorrr you can always stub your toe so that will take away from the pain of your shoulder..

Read "The MindBody Prescription" before you go through with the surgery. They were going to do neck surgery on me and I was fine.

Also, do not take ibuprofen unless you are swelling. Inflammation is your body healing itself. Anti-inflammatories slow the process down.
