Sneak a tounge Peircing.?
Im thinking about getting my tounge peirced without my parents finding out but i have alot of questions about it, like. will it leave a mark on my tounge when i take it out and how long do i have 2 leave it in before i can take it out without it closing. advice and answers are appreciated..:)

It will be extremely difficult to hide it from your parents. Beyond the mushmouth the others have mentioned, there is also the fact that a person with a tongue peircing will have to open their mouth to talk at some point in time and the tell-tell silver flash from your mouth will give it away.
Take it out when around the parents you say? Nah. The tongue is one of the most resiliant parts of the body and heals quite quickly. If you take your bar out for any period of time, especially shortly after having the peircing done, then it will heal up. On of my friends removed hers for an hour and could not get it back in. That is an extreme case, but it gives you an idea of how fast the tongue is capable of healing up.
When you get your tongue peirced, it should be done at a reputable place. Stop and ask yourself how reputable a place is if they will peirce the tongue of a minor without parental permission.

You won't be able to - unless your parents are unobservant. The tongue will swell up. You will have trouble talking for a while. it is very noticable. Be warned!Geez, I went through this with my daughter. Go online and look at the devestating pictures you can find with regards to tongue piercings gone wrong. I'm sure there are more people with successful piercings than unsuccessful ones.but why take that chance? You are going to have plenty of opportunities in your life to poke holes in yourself by accident.why would you do it on purpose?

Arrange to stay at a friend's house for a weekend. Wear a clear tongue stud around them, and don't take it out for extended periods of time. It will close. They won't see the hole, but if you leave it out for even a couple hours, it will close.this will be a very difficult piercing to hide. Right afterward your tongue will swell and it will amke it hard for you to talk and eat. Your parents will undoubtedly notice your new speech impediment and penchant for soft foods and popsicles. If you remove the stud too soon it will immediately begin to close. My advice is to discuss that you want to get the peircing with your parents, reminding them that you will probably remove it in a few years after you've outgrown having it.

if you were my child and i found out that you did that without asking, i would kick you a**!.anyway, there is a major vein that runs right down the middle of your tounge and if the person piercing hits it, you could bleed to death..just a little bit of info..

You can't sneak a tounge piercing. It will close up very fast. Also, it's not a great idea in the first place. I've had more than one friend get a tounge infection (think-entire tounge turns green and pus-ey) from it. Get a tattoo instead!!what is the easiest way to lose 2 stone in two monthes?

i really does not hurt that much. there will be a mark if you take it out, sort of like a small line where the percing was inserted. you have to wait 3 to 6 weeks before taking it out or changing it, depending on your body's healing process. and depending on how old you, 16 you will probally need parent permission and guideince. 18 and older all you need is an Id and your money.Source(s):

I used to have a tongue piercing for a few years. All I have now is a small circle on the underside of my tongue where it used to be the top is back as it was.
You cant take it out for the first few months as your tongue will heal. Remember your tongue is a muscle and unlike ear piercings it will never stop trying to heal itself and it can heal itself very quickly. If you take it out for about 5-6 hours you can find it has already started netting back together.
Don't listen to grumps above who wants to scare you into not getting something done. Bet he hasnt done anything that might scare him in the slightest and im sure his wife is ugly. The people who have problems with piercings are in the minority of people who have problems. Go somewhere clean and make sure you take good care of it after you get it done and you'll be fine.

I agree that this is a very bad idea to even be considering. I have a friend who had her tongue peirced and woke up in the middle of the night not being able to breathe. It was badly infected and the swelling constricted her airways..and could have been fatal.It is very noticeable due to the swelling and the effect it will have on your ability to talk and the clicking noice it will make when you talk.
Before you do it, you should consider doing other research first.

i had my tongue pierced and it didnt hurt at all..and also you wont talk funny at all..that is a lie, i didnt talk funny and neither did my friend. i sucked on ice the entire first day and had no swelling at all. you do have to leave it in for a few weeks (i think about 4-6, cant remember) before changing it. typically they put it a silver one, which will be easy to see when you talk. if you can, have them put in a pink or red one so it will match your tongue and wont be as noticable when talking to your parents. it will grow up if you leave it out for more than about an hour. it has left a tiny light colored dot on the top of my tongue and a weird little bump underneath my tongue, i felt like i should take it out when i began teaching. good luck with it and dont listen to ppl who say it hurts or will make you talk funny!!what's the difference between sunburns and tanning?
