what caueses charlie horses (leg cramps)?

Answers:
Long leather coats can keep you warm during the really cold winters but I would recommend wearing at least 2 layers of long sleeve shirts (long sleeve shirt/sweater) underneath your long leather coat, another suggestion is to wear leather pants and long leather boots with your leather coat.

Leather is good at keeping in the warmth as it is literally skin (if it worked for the animal there is no reason it shouldn't work for you.) I would imagine you would need some additional layers though.

I'm a guy and Iv'e tried waxing, and it is extremly painful. How can I reduce the pain?

No a long leather coat will not keep you warm in Canada, or anywhere else that is cold. You must buy a lined winter jacket to brave the Canadian winters. You must be wanting to live way up north, cause alot of Canada does not get to -25

The leather keep the wind off very well, but the warmth depends on several factor. How heavy is the leather? Is the fur left on? Is it lined, and does the lining add to the warmth? And so on.

I think I'd get the leather coat, but keep my parka and down vest for when it's really cold and when I have to be out for a long time.

I don't think that a long leather coat would keep you warm during the severe cold tempartures, I would recommend getting a long wool coat, those keep you warm and they're alot less expensive than leather.
