Rubbing Vic ks vapor rub on the nail is supposed to help

I strongly suggest that you see your doctor and ask them if this condition is related to your liver. Jaundice makes your fingernails, toenails, and eye whites appear yellow. Don't wish to frighten you, just make sure you know one way or the other from a professional.

Listerine. soak your feet in listerine. its a good home remedy that works.

I had a real bad case of it myself, a while ago, and like you didn't want to take medications that might have adverse effects on my body. I did a little research and found a liquid from Australia called Tea Tree Oil. Seems the Aborigines have been using it for centuries for just about all that ails you. It's a fungicide, antibacterial, and antiseptic, all rolled into one. Got a scratch or scrape? Dab some on and it will start healing right away.

As for the toenail fungus, remember, it lives deep in the toenail so healing it will take an average of six months before the new nail is completely grown back in. Don't wear shoes that are plastic. Stick to leather, and change to cotton socks. Anything that holds moisture next to your feet will just promote a reinfection.

When Summer comes, drag out those sandals and wear them as much as you can. Lots of fresh air on those tootsies will speed the healing.

You need to dab it on the leading edge of your toenails and let it seep under them. Do it after you shower in the morning. Wash your feet again before you go to bed and reapply. Whatever you do, be patient. Even with prescription medications, it will take the same ammount of time as with the Tea Tree Oil.
