there's some indention on the back of the watch that you can put a sharp object into to open, or sometimes it will have grooves to unscrew
get a sharp object and pry the back off if that don't work for you then take it somewhere like wal mart and someone in jewelry dept. will be glad to do it for you.
go to kohls they replace them 5 bucks
Some stores have a little kit that you can stand at the jewelry counter and use to change your watch battery. There should be a notch in the back, you stick a small flat tool from the kit or a small flat screwdriver in the notch and pop off the back.
