Anyone taking Lexapro?

well i dont anymore. i got rid of the depression by myself, because lexapro and zoloft got me werid out. i feel really not myself while taking it. i took it bout 1month and i felt freaky. i love to talk, but when i took it i felt i couldn't talk at all. i felt really messed up like i was high on something. some people i knew felt not themself either. but it depends on your body how it takes it.

I take lexapro. I think that it really has helped me. no side effects for me anyway. If you get side effects from it that you can not deal with, tell your doc. There are so many drugs out there you can take.

Lexapro took a month to kick in. The side effects up to that point were quite pronounced. Stomach problems, memory problems, sleep loss, sexual feeling diminished. The wait was worth it. I've since changed to prozac. This is available generically. The only seratonin re-uptake inhibiter available genericallty.
