Prescribed Zoloft a couple of months ago. The mfr says it doesn't cause weight gain, but I have. Anyone else?

I took zoloft and experienced no weight gain from it. Maybe you are gaining weight for a different reason. Talk to your doctor though either way.

Gain weight while taking Zoloft.Oh Yeah! Big time. I took the darn stuff for 1 year & gained over 13lbs.due to the fact that I still had all the same problems, but the Zoloft makes you so you don't give a darn. Ergo: the weight gain.you eat,you gain weight, but you don't care cause you are numbed by the Zoloft..it also killed all my sexual desire.needless to say my marriage went to hell as well, back in the 80's no one told us that antidepressants can squelch the libdo! So beware of the symptoms & talk to you doctor about them. I got off the stuff & decided to face my problems head on instead of dulling them with meds. It worked for me, but not everyone is the same.
Yes it does! Ive been taking it over a year now and i stay hungry ever since i started taking it.
