Is unsteadiness and constantly staggering and falling a symptom of a skull fracture in a 4 to 5 year old?

Question:
I have a daughter who will be 5 years old at the end of this month who has developed these symptoms.

Answers:
If this is suspected, I would take them to the doctor at once! Any balance abnormalities or lack of normal coordination could be a sign of a serious neurological problem.

Other Answers:
The only way to know for sure is to take her to the doctor. ASAP!

Omigosh! You should go to her Pediatrician and tell him exactly what happened to your daughter and make sure to have x-rayed. This is really serious if she did fall.

Yikes!

Take her to a pediatrician ASAP!

Those symptoms could be any number of conditions ranging from viral illness like menengitis to concussion, to tumor, to metabollic disorder. Even a serious inner ear infection can cause vertigo and dizziness.

This is not normal and should not be taken lightly or ignored. She should be evaluated in person by a trained medical professional.

If the symptoms are persistent and it is caused by head trauma, there could be some sort of bleed or intercranial pressure which needs to be evaluated.

Please go and see your Pediatrician today!

Man, you need to take her to a doctor if she's acting that far out of character (and balance). I don't know why you even wasted time asking this here.
I don't know if it's a skull fracture or what, but when you see symptoms like that it can be something very serious like a brain tumor, or perhaps something less like an inner ear infection.

What are you doing asking here?

God, I hope your joking! Get the kid to the doctor NOW!

EDIT: Judging from your other question, I'm seriously afraid for this kid.

Too bad these can't be tracked - we could call childrens services! Or the police!

This isn't funny.

You may need to take the child to the doctor, obvisously there is some sort of infection going on or the childs equalibrium is off..which can be due to an inner ear infection or a concusion possibly..seek medical attention as soon as possible there might be some other issue going on.
