Is it normal to be depressed one day then really happy the next?

Question:
Maybe it changes every few days, but it changes quite often. Is it normal. I'm in highschool too, if that helps any.

Answers:
People who are bi-polar are this way.

Other Answers:
i think its normal. maybe the reason you were really happy the next day is because you yourself wanted to escape that depression. but you have to remember, the more you overjoy, the closer you are to greater sadness. well, that's my experience because i think the world is balance and the more you overjoy, you tend to take things for granted that might lead you towards sadness without you realising it.

I would check with a doctor on this one. There is a chance that you could be bipolar. Definitly talk to your parents, Don't wait do it soon.

If it makes you feel any better, it is also in some instances normal to have up and down days. High school is really hard. The homework, and trying to just fit in. If you feel as though you are having many of these up and down days, then you should really make a doctors appointment. Talk with your parents or a trusted adult. Let them know how much it bothers you. Best of luck!

in a balanced way..welcome to the human race..if you find the depression is beyond that dark grey space with no thought of survival or living, then that's a problem

if it is the latter firstly consult the doctor, but remember doctors place baindaids on..they are not the solution. while the baindaid is on and you have some relief. get some serious help

I think every human gets depressed once in a while. It is quite normal. If it starts affecting you going to school or doing things that you normally need to do, then I would speak with a doctor. As long as you snap out of it, you are ok.
