after having a heart attack with no damage caused by blood clot should I have not received a anti coag medicat
no damage to heart, no plaque build up
Answers:
I am a little confused by your description. IF your heart attack was caused by a clot, then I would think it should have been considered. If you had a cardiac cath (dye test) that showed no obstruction, but you did have a confirmed heart attack (as opposed to chest pain or angina- which can happen without muscle damage), I would wonder why.
If your cardiologist is good and you trust him/her, ask about it. Ask why you had the heart attack if you had no obstruction, and address your concern about the meds- Plavix and aspirin are very common meds which are used to help prevent further problems. Also, were you screened for cholesterol and fractions? These are very important for management. You may need to be considered for treatment, but the cardiologist can help you understand.

Yes. The reason you received the anti clot medication was so another clot didn't form or the one you had did not get worse. What are good resources to learn about treatments for prostate cancer?
Yes. You were most likely put on a drug called Coumadin or some form of it. This is to ensure that you REALLY don't have any clots. It also helps your heart pump your blood better throughout your body especially after having a heart attack. Your physician may take you off of it after a few months after determining whether or not you are clot free.hope this helps!how to get rid of nose hair?any device with a particular name?
It's not clear if you're saying you did not receive an anticoagulant or that you did but you wonder if you shouldn't have.If you did receive one it was to prevent the formation of more clots.
If you didn't receive one there must have been a reason. Ask your doctor this question.

Just a suggestion : instead of using drug-based medication , you should try using nutritional supplements.Omega3 fatty acids are great agents in preventing and reversing blood clotting. Omega3 are naturally found in fish oil, nuts oil and many other sterols.
You can have a heart attack and have no residual damage and no underlying obstruction. If your ekg showed an acute MI or heart attack, it was perfectably acceptable and good medical practice to give you an anticoagulant. It probably stopped your heart from sustaining permanent damage by disolving the blood clot that was causing the problem. Your physicians probably saved your life and you might want to thank them!
Did he tell you to take aspirin, this can help prevent blood clots, but you should ask your doctor before taking it, or any other over the counter medications, as they may interfere with your condition.

If one was not seen when you were at the hospital by the doctor you probably dont have a clot. They would give you coumadin or some form of it immediately and you would live in the hospital for a while. It's a good thing that you do not take the medicine. I do and it has a lot of side effects, it is rat poison after all. If you notice the same pain as when you had the heart attack then you should be concerned. Then you would have to go to the hospital immediately.Vitamin E acts as a anti-coagulant. You should also take 250 mcg every day of the trace mineral selenium. no but a low dose aspirin OTC 81 mg daily is good preventative measure..
