Does getting a scope test to look at my esophigus hurt/uncomforta.

I had a barium swallow 3 weeks ago and the doctor said I have a narrowing of the esophigus. They think it's probably due to heart burn , but need to make sure that nothing is blocking it such as cancer or something else. I really don't want to get it done because I know what it feels like to have something put down your throat and your first reaction is to grab and pull it out. Any advice or words of wisdom?

Do you know how to make nose more prominent?

Answers:
My endoscopy was uneventful. It's not the most pleasant thing in the world, but you will be awake and will have to swallow the catheter/scope. After that, nothing to it. Be sure to ask your doc for something to relax you during the proceedure beforehand as some will do this without asking if you want something. You'll also be able to look at your stomach/esophogus on the screen and that distracts you from alot of the uncomfortable feeling. I'd rate it to having your teeth cleaned.no biggie. Good luck to you.

In most jeans I'm a size 1, but I want to loose a little bit more weight.?

Low hematocrit even with supplements, any suggestions?

Yes, the procedure is unpleasant. Doctors know this, and so the patient is generally given a tranquilizer and the esophagus is numbed up. It's a short procedure, so that's the good part.
