How can you get rid of a cold sore within the same day?

Abreva is over-the-counter and it works very well. Although getting rid of it in the same day is generally impossible.

Nothing I have ever tried has worked, it usually takes several days. ViraMedx works best for me, it's over the counter. Abreva has never done much for me.

Once you feel the "tingle" you need to start with the medication. And if you caught it early enough, it won't come out.
I use a prescription called "Denavir", works pretty good if I catch it at the first "tingle", but if it has already come out to say "Hello", nothing you can do but let it hang around for 10-14 days!

The over the counter stuff my Doctor told me is a waste of money. If you have insurance, go get a presctiption for "Denavir" or there's another one (prescription) but I am drawing a blank, used to use it but when this Denavir came out I liked it better.
