MY matabolism is extremely slow i have had a great excericse and diet plan for the last year 1/2 and my matabolism is still causing me 2 gain weight..what can i do.what pills or vitamins do u recommend

Having slow metabolism means that you need to watch your intake. You can try having the same amount of food but increase your exercise regime to burn more calories.
The other way is to reduce your intake altogether. You did not indicate what you r daily intake is like. You could be over-eating for your size.
One way of reducing your intake is to have more fibre diet with more fruit and vegetables. Reduce your carbohydrate and meat intake. You can try having fruits half an hour before meals so that you feel full earlier and eat less at meal time.
Really need to know how much you are eating for meals. Pills and vitamins will not be helpful at this stage.

Have you had your thyroid tested? If not go do so.
If you have go back to your dr. and ask for a complete bloodwork.
Also keep a journal of what you are eating and your exercise for a week and make an appt with a Nutritionist to go over it. They might see something your missing or not doing.

try going the doctors you could have an underactive thyroid problem, i don't suggest you buy any pills or supplements that claim to speed up your metabolism most of them don't work. try working out in the morning,and it is thought that seafood being rich in iodine help the thyroid gland produce thyroxin which is responsible for metabolism this isn't strictly limited to seafood as it has been proven that food that is grown near the sea receive iodine though the soil and have the same properties aswell. speak to a fitness professional you might need your fitness plan upgrading as if you do the same things at the same levels all the time your body becomes used to it so you need to increase times or levels

Running is the best exercise. Try to run (not jog) for about 20 minutes at least 3 days a week. Drink only water (and coffee if you must). Also, do some strength training. The more muscle you have, the more calories you can burn (that's why guys can get away with eating more). Don't eat ANY junkfood, and don't eat for at least 4 hours before you go to bed.

The most important thing is to set a goal, make a plan to achieve that goal, and stick to it. Good luck.
