How accurate are workout machines that tell the # of calories you burn?
Can you gain weight in as little as a day?
Answers:
They only give you an estimate.
Every body is diifferent, in fact we all adapt.
What I mean is: Last year you could burn 'x' amount of calories in 30 mintues, but hopefully you have increased your overallfitness level, which in turn, will change that "x" to a different number.
There is no way for a machine to determine what your "x" is.
I hope this helps.
Other Answers:
They're not accurate at all.
what are the best exercises to lose weight and to prepare to join the military?
I agree with the two answers posted ahead of mine. Plus, what the programmers have done is base the # of calories burned on averages taken fron X number of people and their physical constitution. You may be burning less or more than the # that is indicated. Use it as a guide.More Questions and Answers
