for women, do you use tampons?

Question:
I don't normally use them, but my son's begging me to go swimming, and I spent like 30 min. inserting it. How far do you have to put it in? This isn't a joke. I am serious. I'm an adult and have never been able to get the hang of tampons. Any answers would be appreciated.

Answers:
Look closely at the picture included with the instructions. To insert, you must relax. Also, it's uncomfortable to insert completely dry. Try a tiny glob of lube or vaseline on the tip. Once you have the tip in, let your body dictate the angle, don't force it. You can safely push it in as far as it will go without ANY pain, just hold on to the string (kinda crucial). Then gently tug on the string to bring the tampon back down a little, to find the spot that's comfortable for you.

Other Answers:
I usually stop and insert when the middle "ridges" of the tampon are just able to be touched and still outside the vagina. I only use Playtex ones. They are most comfortable for me.

From what I've heard, if you have trouble inserting them, then don't try to wear them. Just a suggestion--I don't wear tampons AT ALL.

You are trying to hard. I only use them when I have to go swimming also. But once inserted, you shouldn't feel them at all. The end of the tampon (once inserted) should be at the very end of your vagina.good luck

take practcal lessons from someone who uses it. it shouldnt be difficult otherwise the company won't be making sales

I have always used tampons. Sometimes it is uncomfortable so I'll wait a few minutes and try again. Put it in until it is all the way in and only the string sticks out. It should be comfortable when you sit down. If it isn't, take it out and wait a few minutes and try again.
