Watch what you eat and if this continues to happen, then get to your doctor quick. If it's not diet related it could be blood in your stool.

No, it didnt come from the pepto. It is most likely because you have too much iron intake.. or you could have some type of problem with your colon. perhaps the next time go to the bathroom you might want to collect some of your stool and take it to the health department to examine it to check for blood etc. besides you should be producing more stool then once a week constipation or not. perhaps start taking some colace or stool softner tablets not laxatives but something that is milder and drinks lots and lots of water.. to get rid of waste.Have you been since? If not, you are constipated! Sort that out and then see if you are normal.
