Question:
or artificial sunlight. What are the side affects if I am exposed to the sunlight? Does anyone here know?

Answers:
Taking bactrim reduces the bodies defense against the sun. 15% of those taking it experience this. If this is the case with you, you would feel a burning sensation the moment you were exposed. Withdraw immediately. You also need to drink lots of water with this med. It gets into the system much faster.

Other Answers:
yeah you get sunburnt easier

I'm not a doctor nor anything like that, but I've taken Bactrim and never had any side effect. However, Ihaven't beeen on the beach while in medication.

You will get a serious sunburn..not good. Can get sun poisoning if exposed. Follow instructions and keep out of sun.
Hope ya feel better.

I have taken Bactrim before and had an adverse reaction to exposure to sunlight while on it. I had gotten red blotches on my forearms and a bit on my cheeks, but it probably wouldn't have even happened if I would have just stayed out of the sun!! So, please do yourself a favor and don't work on your tan just yet!! lol Best of luck to ya!!
