Include starchy vegetables such as potatoes and beans, as well as grains, turkey, chicken, fish, eggs, avocados, safflower oil, raw cheeses, nuts and seeds. Eat only whole-grain/ whole-wheat breads, pasta, crackers, and cereals.

But remember, do not eat fried foods or junk foods for extra calories. Also eliminate coffee, tea, soft drinks and anything else with caffeine.

There's an excellent book 'THE POWERFOOD NUTRITION PLAN' by Susan M.Kleiner which gives all sorts of diets for weight gaining (some of them are 6 meals a day). Get it from your local library.
