i have not had my periods this month. my last date was 1st Feb.im really worried.what could go wrong? i've never had sex.just some playful activities with my boyfriend..what could be the reason for the delay in periods? my ususal menstrual cycle is of 24-25 days.pl help.

As the previous answer stated, it is possible to become pregant without actual sex if there is semen near your vagina. However, this is extremely rare. More like your cycle is just off, and it's no big deal. Even women with extremely regular cycles can miss one occassionally. If your body doesn't release an egg for some reason (maybe the one it tried to release was defective somehow), you may not have a period. Stress or infection (unrelated to the reproductive system, like cold or flu) can cause your period to be late, or even cause you to miss it entirely. So if there's any chance you could be pregnant (i.e. you've had any sexual contact in that area) you might want to take a pregancy test just to be sure, but chances are it's not big deal.

if there is a possibility of any semen entering you even if there was actually no penetration you can get pregnant from that. if you are young, it is possible that your hormones have not totally settled into a regular cycle. also remember February was a short month. if you are concerned my best advise is go see a doctor. you really can not be effectively evaluated over the Internet.
