yes the Depo-Provera shot PLEASE never get this use a condom every time you have sex just don't get this shot. I had all kinds of side effects like weight gain,depression,loss of sex drive,vaginal dryness,achy muscles and joints, and a terrible respiratory infection. It's really bad because even after being off of this the side effects stay. I'm still recovering and I've been off for 2 years.
