can someone with cerebral palsy which involves general spasticity gain head control at an age of 8?

I would believe it could happen with therapy and other improvements. My son is doing things we didnt think possible a year ago.

if I'm not wrong,its possible to gain control,but i cant really remember the exact age..
cerebral palsy is non-progressive,and the spasticity and cramps are usually located in the torso and limbs,with minimal effect over head and neck muscles
