What kind of curling iron are the best? Or does it matter? I bought mine cheap. It always gives me frizz and curls that I don't expect. I really want those pretty curls!

I use ConAir. They are cheap and reliable. I have had the same ConAir hair dryer for about 6 years now! And i have a curling iron from ConAir too.

Hot tools curling irons are great too, they have a wide variety of different size barrels, and you can control the hotness. That's what I/we use in the salon and at home.

I haven't used a curling iron since 1988.

how do yo get rid of cold sooner ?

I use a ceramic one. It doesn't seem to damage my hair or make it frizzy as much as other curling irons I've tried in the past. You should also be careful of the temperature setting. If you have it too high, it can make your hair frizzy.
