Answers:
Normally we lose about 100 hairs or more per day. But frequent hair washing can cause you to lose more hair frequently. Try washing your hair every other day rather than everyday and see if that helps. Sometimes it can also be caused by the products you use in your hair. Try switching to a different brand of product. But if your hair is falling out in clumps, then I suggest you see your doctor (or a dermatologist in case a skin condition on your scalp is causing this).

There's a great product line out there called "More Hair". They have shampoo, conditioner, and other types of stuff to put on your hair to slow hair loss. You can order it from Drugstore.com for a very reasonable price:

Can you kill athlete's foot if you urinate on your feet in the shower?

Hair loss is caused by DHT (dihydrotestosterone). If you can find a product that blocks the uptake of DHT, you can slow hair loss. It's worked for me, I don't know how long I can expect it to work, before I accept the fact that I have too much testosterone to think I can hang on to my hair. Baldness comes as a result of testosterone.

where does snot come from and how does it reproduce so darn fast?

It may be male pattern baldness. You can get treatments but they cost money and have some sideeffects.
